SWCX round 10 - South of England Regional Championships

On 6th and 7th December the South West Cyclo Cross League will be organising the South of England Championships at Stover School, Newton Abbot.

There will be a packed weekend of racing, food, beer tent and displays from Ridley and Colin Lewis Cycles.
However to make the day go well we need you, the riders and volunteers!
Sometimes the title “Championship Event” can put people off from entering, with visions of Sven Nys and Niels Albert turning up to put the locals to the sword. In reality this isn't the case, our event will cater for all classes and abilities as all league events do. Cyclo Cross guru Roy Wyle Smith has helped to develop the course further and we are confident it’s going to be a great ride.

Interested in racing? Its pre entry only via the British Cycling entry system here. There is no entry on the day (apart from the Under 12’s race) and on-line entry will close 1 week before the event.

On Saturday there’s a schools event in the morning and in the afternoon dedicated novice racing. If you've wanted to have a go at cross this is the place to start, same course, same challenges, fewer people racing and a shorter duration – 30 mins. Encourage your friends and club mates along to have a go!

Sunday is a packed schedule, but take the opportunity to soak up the big event atmosphere bring your fan club, with their cow bells and bobble hats too!
